Step Teachers are working with a school that is based in Ipswich to source an English Teacher for a permanent role starting in September 2024. English Teacher - Role:

  • Possess strong knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Maintain a well-organised, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, inspiring good behaviour, and a passion for learning.
  • Cooperate with and support colleagues and additional classroom staff.
  • Accurately assess and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Comply with and implement the school's policies and take part in their supportive educational ethos.

English Teacher - Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Recent mainstream school-based experience as an English Teacher.
  • A relevant English-related degree is desirable.
