Successful applicants will be provided with all necessary training such as Moving and Handling, CALM, ESCAPES, Dysphagia etc

The Person

Communication skills, Organisational skills, Ability to manage and prioritise workload, Ability to work with minimal supervision, Team working skills, Literacy skills, Basic IT skills Ability to provide support to individuals with personal care needs, Moving & Handling, ability to undertake physical tasks . being able to comfortably kneel on beds and floors and able to rise without difficulty. You are required to complete the required Post Registration Training and Learning (PRTL) over the first registration period.

As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration. 

If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you're registered within the required six months. More details are included in the role profile.

Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
