We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Data Manager with SIMS experience to join our secondary schools in Harlow. As a Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate school data, ensuring smooth operation of our management information systems.

The Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data entry, analysis, and reporting using SIMS. You will work closely with school leadership and staff to ensure that student records, attendance, assessment, and other vital data are up-to-date and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain all student and school data using SIMS (School Information Management System).
  • Ensure data accuracy, timely input, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Support the analysis of student performance, attendance, and other key metrics.
  • Generate reports for internal and external use, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Train and support staff in the use of SIMS, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues within the SIMS system.

The ideal candidate for the Data Manager position will have a strong background in data management within an educational setting and extensive experience with SIMS. You will need excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Data Manager, preferably within a school or education environment.
  • Proficiency with SIMS (School Information Management System) is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
