Head of Finance

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Head of Finance to lead the Finance Team.  This is a pivotal role overseeing and managing the entire Finance function and driving the Groups financial strategy and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the finance function including management and financial accounting activities.
• Develop and implement financial strategy, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation.
• Develop and maintain a business partnership culture.
• Manage the forecasting and budgeting process ensuring all businesses and teams align with strategic objectives.
• Produce accurate and timely financial reports and interpret financial information to the business.
• Implement and maintain a robust internal control system.
• Manage internal and external audits.
• Manage the Group tax and HMRC relationships.
• Provide financial guidance to the Groups leadership.
• Lead, inspire and develop the Finance Team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional accounting qualification 
• Experience in a senior Finance role
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning and organisational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Arrangements:

• Full-time, Permanent
• Hybrid working options available
• Location: Designated sites in Barking / Dagenham.
