Job Advert Role Description

Main Purpose:
Join our dedicated team at Burston House as a Bank Catering Assistant, where you'll support the catering operation through basic food preparation and maintaining hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and meals are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist catering staff with the preparation and cooking of meals in line with our Assured Safe Catering policies and procedures
Take responsibility for specific areas of the catering operation under direction.
Ensure the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards.
Comply with the company's Safe Catering policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
An appreciation of basic food hygiene.
Experience in a catering environment is desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
