We are looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join our team and work on our UK brands

As the Social Media Community Manager, you will be responsible for creating and posting engaging and entertaining social media content on our organic social channels including Facebook, X, Instagram and Youtube.

If you are passionate about sports (particularly football) and have experience creating content on socials then we would love to hear from you

What you will do 

  • Schedule social media posts and implement paid organic social activity as directed by the HoSM.
  • Keep abreast of all major sporting events, and monitor social media trending topics, to ensure that social media communications are engaging and topical.
  • Receive training and guidance on the relevant marketing codes and compliance rules relating to social media communications and ensure that all posts are in line with these rules.
  • Interact with followers where appropriate in line with clear communication guidelines laid down by the HoSM, and work closely with the retail and digital CS teams to ensure all social media enquiries are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Work closely with the PR team to ensure that the social media conversations and activities are fully aligned with the PR teams’ activities, through a day-to-day communication process that supports this.
  • Support the HoSM with developing ideas for social media content, in line with the brand marketing strategy and personality, and support in the creation of content.

Who you are 

  • Professional experience in a social media role
  • Experience of social media content creation and copywriting with a high level of interest in, and knowledge of, a range of mainstream sports, including football.
  • Strong working and/or personal knowledge and experience of social media channels (X, Facebook, Instagram and You Tube)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Motivated and organised with a proven ability to work in a fast paced always-on environment.
  • We’re in the sports business so you’ll need to be willing and able to work evenings and weekends on a shift pattern.
  • Experience working in a betting or sports related role would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
