In our team you will provide support and develop projects related to the area of control centres in the UK. Theseprojects are based on GMV's software product suite. You will becomefamiliar with them by initially working as part of the GMV team in Madrid, inthe maintenance and evolution of Software for the control centre. Initialfunctions will include designing product updates, developing Software (in C++,Java, and other technologies), investigating issues, and preparing patches ornew versions, operational customer support, etc. Subsequently, it will be moreautonomously responsible for carrying out the same type of tasks for clients inthe UK office.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for experts in Software Engineering with backgroundand interest in Space and Aerospace working within Software development in C++ and/or Java
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
Strongwill and experience in teamwork. Autonomy and good communication skills. Experience within of other development programmes such as, REACT, Python, SpringBoot, Mysql, Architectures (Redis) Development of REST interfaces andservice-oriented architectures Technologies related to DevOps: Ansible, GIT, Jenkins/Bamboo.The role will involve working in the UK defence sector.The applicant must already have SC security clearance, or be able to obtain securityclearance to SC, under the UKSV clearance level requirements.
