Accounts Payable Manager

Role:
Our client is looking for immediate, temporary, Accounts Payable Manager to assist them for 3 months. You be will be responsible for following duties:
- Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management.
- Lead and mentor the accounts payable team, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, matching them to purchase orders and receipts.
- Manage and schedule payments to vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and cash flow considerations.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts payable with general ledger, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant regulations in all accounts payable activities.
- Prepare and present reports on accounts payable metrics, cash flow forecasts, and payment statuses to senior management.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., procurement, finance) to streamline processes and improve overall financial operations.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Provide ongoing training and support to the accounts payable team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Profile:
The successful temporary Accounts Payable Manager will have 10 years + within Accounts Payable and have atleast 3 years of management experience.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:
The temporary Accounts Payable Manager role will be paying circa £30 - £37.50 per hour, dependant on experience.
