Role: Graduate Trainee Teaching Assistant

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30.

Suitable for graduates of all disciplines

A local SEND school is recruiting for a trainee teaching assistants to work on a full-time basis (term time only) from September 2024. The school is located in Sheffield.

You will work 121 and provide daily support to KS1 - Post 16 students with PMLD (Profound multiple learning disorders). You will have a calm and nurturing nature, be resilient and have a passion for working with children. No previous childcare experience is necessary. You will be provided the opportunity to take an accredited qualification as well as on the job learning.

The role would be most suitable for a graduate with an interest in teaching/care/social care or working in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
