All about the role


The strategy and transformation team sits within the corporate and commercial strategy department of JET and is formed of a top-class team of strategy and project delivery specialists.


As a senior manager in this team, you will be influencing, developing, and delivering our key cross-functional, multi-geography strategic initiatives within JET.

The global strategy and transformation team work hand in hand with our commercial and functional business teams across the organisation, so you will be building relationships with colleagues across the organisation in executing our JET-wide mission of empowering everyday convenience for our consumers and partners.

Key ingredients of the role:

Understand and structure key strategic issues and initiatives

  • Contribute to global strategic issues and projects with an understanding of JET's internal ways of working and awareness of the macro-economic environment challenges & competitive landscape
  • Collaborate with leaders within JET to prepare key analyses and analyse strategic options on business issues
  • Translate complex global topics and issues that involve multiple stakeholders into actionable pieces of work and deliverables
  • Track and monitor the overall progress of our strategy with the organisation

Working with multiple stakeholders

  • Work with senior leadership in shaping and delivering key strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate and work across all functions to hold deep strategy or programme-focused conversations  
  • Manage relationships and conflicting interests with a diverse set of stakeholders (typically up (Sr.) Director level)

Program manage complex business initiatives and transformations

  • Day-to-day management of projects with high risk or business impact 
  • Typically the most (dedicated / first line) senior person on the project or wider team
  • Define the scope and activities of complex projects ensuring they are well-executed and managing any issues
  • Working on the day-to-day stakeholder management, project management, and the development of high-quality project deliverables

People management

  • People manager for 3-4 direct reports in the team
  • Rationalise people change impact in a medium-sized program or set of programs
  • Influence stakeholders across functions to deliver in line with business needs
  • Mentor junior team members from the strategy and transformation team and review analysis, reports and other work done by junior colleagues

What will you bring to the table?

  • 10+ years’ consulting experience in strategy and/or managing multi functional projects with a consultancy / multinational corporation or in a tech organisation. Experience in managing corporate process improvements, regulatory and organisational restructuring a plus 
  • Analytically driven with a problem solving mindset and can draw decisions based on data and organisational knowledge
  • Able to interpret & analyse financial & non financial data and undertake data manipulation to unearth the implications of decisions
  • Can make recommendations based on analysis; with supporting visualisations (e.g. Tableau) 
  • Experience in handling senior stakeholders with precise and effective structuring of key messages and outcomes
  • Great communication and people-management skills, including building strong relationships with stakeholders 
  • A driven, highly-motivated approach and excellent project management skills (PM certifications a big plus)
  • Working knowledge of project management software, e.g. Jira, Trello
  • The ability to think long term, looking at ways we can improve our processes for future project delivery
  • Fluent English language skills (written & spoken)
  • You enjoy working in a global team setup and thrive in a high-pressure environment
