About the Role:

Within the Corporate Marketing Directorate, there is an exciting opportunity to join the Schools and Colleges Engagement Team as a part-time Administrator, supporting both our student recruitment and widening participation work. 

Primary responsibilities will include delivering high-level, high-quality customer service as the initial point of contact for both internal and external colleagues, as well as our partners and stakeholders. This will involve effective and efficient handling of routine and complex enquiries from all sources (telephone, email, face-to-face, post) regarding team activity and events.

With a degree, or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level, or appropriate experience, you will be confident developing, implementing, and maintaining high quality administrative processes. This will include, but is not limited to, organising the logistics of on- and off- campus school/colleges visits, handling, and reporting data, tracking against budgets, and training/supporting the team to follow process. As an innovative, creative thinker you will have an enthusiastic proactive, approach, demonstrating excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. You must be highly organised, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment, and it is important that you can develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds.

Based at either our Cambridge, Chelmsford, or Peterborough campus, youll have the option of working on an agile basis with a mixture of office and home-based working. Occasional travel between campuses, and occasional work outside of normal office hours is expected.

It is expected that face-to-face interviews will take place on Tuesday 20 August (campus tbc)
