Purpose

As an Cleaner, you will play a key role in the manufacturing department of a well-established and innovative company based in Christchurch. You will be working in the factory, cleaning within the production areas, as well as other general cleaning duties.  This role offers great benefits and for the right person, will lead to a permanent job opportunity.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as an Cleaner will include:

  • Cleaning industrial machinery
  • Use commercial cleaning equipment to clean the factory, warehouse, toilets and cleanrooms
  • Removing waste using compactors and bailers
  • General cleaning duties – sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors
  • Removing dust from surfaces, equipment and machinery
  • Ensuring health & safety protocols are always followed.

Heavy lifting will be required for this role.

Background

The successful Cleaner will have:

  • Experience using commercial cleaning products
  • Ability to heavy lift products and use compactors/bailers
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
