Role Description

Arts & Crafts Volunteer

Location: Seaford

Time Commitment: Minimum of 2 hours per week

Do you love all kinds of arts & crafts? Then this is the perfect volunteer role for you.

We are looking for someone who can provide support with a variety of different art projects, from portrait painting to watercolours and drawing We are looking for volunteers that can help the people we support unlock their creative potential This role will be based at our service in Seaford. 

Skills required To be kind, empathetic, friendly and creative To have a good sense of humour and love to chat To be punctual and reliable To be able to deal with information in line with our data protection and confidentiality procedures To be able to assist when necessary with sighted guide/orientation Please note that you will need to be  over the age of 18  in order to apply for this role. Upon receipt of your application, a member of our friendly Volunteering Team will contact you for an informal chat and to explain about the next steps. To ensure the safety of the people we support, we require a DBS check and two satisfactory references before a volunteer role is confirmed. As you will be volunteering directly with vulnerable individuals, you will also be required to undertake safeguarding training, as well as any training which is specific to the role.
