We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our EBME team as an EBME Information Systems and Computing Specialist. This is a new yet crucial leadership role within our EBME team at ESNEFT, where you will be the lead expert on information systems and be the named eQuip Systems Administrator. 

You will be a proven leader with substantial EBME experience that is able to work in a friendly, efficient manner, have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. 

Please note this role will involve working across all ESNEFT sites. 

Main duties of the job

You will be the lead expert in the department on Information systems and make autonomous decisions regarding technical and operational issues using own professional judgement.  Act as ‘super’ user for the implementation and continuing use and development of the information solutions within the EBME Service. You will convene and chair meetings as required for the development of software solutions engaging with department, and Trust. To document these meetings and report on a regular basis to the Head of EBME.  Represent the EBME service as an expert EBME resource on working parties that influence the management of eQuip and other software solutions, developing and updating new protocols and policies when the need arises. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to project-manage service upgrades, improvements to services and ensure such activities are conducted in such a way as to minimise the impacted on service delivery Monitor compliance with training requirements should and they advise the Head of EBME, if there are any issues arising with training that would affect safe working in the department. Deputise for operational manager and cover for the contracts and replacement programme manager.
