ABOUT THE ROLE: We are currently recruiting for a Café Cook for our Café situated in the beautiful market town of West Malling.  The successful applicant will show the ability to run a busy breakfast and lunch kitchen. They will support the Shop Retail Team on duty by ensuring that takeaway & table service food prepared on site is produced on a timely basis and in accordance with the Company’s expected requirements. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure takeaway & table service products are consistently prepared in accordance with Company guidelines and to expected timelines
  • All takeaway & table service products look best in class — fully stocked with an excellent range of top-quality products.
  • To react to customer feedback and pro-actively suggest and develop special menu items with the support of the your Manager.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of compliance with regards to all legislation regarding Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Food Safety and Licensing laws as well as any local legislation.
 EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED:Candidates will preferably have some relevant experience in catering, food preparation and/or customer service and have an enthusiastic with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for delivering great food and exceptional service.

LOCATION: West Malling, KentEMPLOYMENT: Permanent, Part-timeHOURS: 8 hours per week to be worked on either a Saturday or Sunday.
