Head Veterinary Nurse (Salary up to £35, DOE) - Willow Vets

Practice Site: Willow Veterinary Centre (Hellesdon)

Willow Veterinary Centre

Here at Willows we're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and cheerful Head Nurse to join our team. Our well established practice has a reputation locally for being warm, friendly and caring. We expanded in November with the opening of our new site in central Norwich. Both our facilities enable us to practice the best of modern, evidence based veterinary medicine.

You'll be welcomed into our team consisting of 6 other RVNs, 3 SVNs and 2 PCAs and 4 receptionists. We have 4 vets including graduates. We'd love to support your development both clinically and personally. We can offer 40 hours with no OOH requirement and Saturday mornings on a 1:4 basis. This would be working across both our Hellesdon and Thorpe Site.

The successful candidate will be efficient, organised and have the ability to use their initiative and common sense to solve problems. They will coach and mentor less experienced staff striving to reach the highest standards of care for our patients. We believe our nurses are invaluable and we are doing as much as possible to develop the role of the veterinary nurse in the practice.

Clinical coach qualifications would be helpful or a willing to obtain them.

We want you be an excellent role model for our team, have excellent communication skills, high standards of clinical care, the abilities to inspire and motivate the team and work along the management to implement our ethos and culture in a positive structured way. This role is very clinical focused and will have minimal administration meaning you can focus on the working day and team. We offer the following benefits for this role:
