Main duties of the job

You will be required to:

Support theTrust's Governance and Patient Safety Agenda through active participation in thework of the Nurse Documentation Group and relevant training subgroups.

Maintain thedelivery and quality of services provided within the care environment, includingthe care delivered, supporting nursing standards and acting as a role modelworking clinically with staff where needed.

Support a Training Needs Analysis and maintain registers of training as appropriate, support ward and departmental sisters/charge nurses to ensure mandatory training levels are compliant with Trust standard. Contribute to corporate training and education. Will be asked to support the roll out ofpractice development initiatives. Develop appropriate competency based clinical skills education and develop relevant competency assessment documents for approval by NEAG. Support the Trusts Governance and Patient Safety agenda through active participation in the work of the Nurse Documentation Group and relevant training subgroups. To maintain the delivery and quality of services provided within the care environment including the care delivered, supporting nursing standards and acting as a role model working clinically with staff where needed. Working towards or educated to a Masters level.
