Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Valid UK NMC Pin
  • Clear DBS


About the Nursing Home:
This is a 59 bed home with two distinct and separate facilities: The service is an impressive and charming listed building, beautifully restored and refurbished to the highest standard, designed for both residential and nursing clients, with most bedrooms having en-suites. The home has developed a great reputation with the Regulators and the Local Authority for providing excellent care in a wonderful environment. One of the Units is a purpose built 25-bed extension especially designed for those experiencing varying degrees of dementia. It is a wonderful modern facility which has many specialist features designed to best support the residents living with dementia.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
  • Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Home Manager
