Position: Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Chesterton (Hybrid)

 

We are currently partnered within a leading global renewable energy organisation. I am supporting them on the recruitment of an Accounts Payable Manager.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable/P2P/Purchase Ledger Manager to join a leading organisation and develop your career further. Within this role,you will be responsible for managing a team of three accounts payable clerks,managing the AP's day to day workload, being the key point for contact for all AP related matters, improving and streamline AP processes and supporting the integration of SAP into the accounts payable function.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of three AP/P2P specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the AP/P2P function.

Integration: Support the seamless integration of SAP into the accounts payable processes, including user training and ongoing support.

Vendor Management: Cultivate strong vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely and accurate payments.

Financial Analysis: Analyze AP/P2P data to identify trends and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

Proven experience in AP, P2P, or purchase ledger management, with expertise in SAP systems.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with a trac record of driving change and achieving results.

Experience in process improvement and managing complex projects.
