About the role:

Work in partnership with Probation and Criminal Justice Rehabilitation Companies (CRC) To develop interventions and deliver groups including Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRR), Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATR), Alcohol Specified Activity Requirement (ASAR) programmes in line with the National Probation Service (NPS) and Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) court order requirements Liaise with the community criminal justice team to ensure effective continuity of care for all service users Provide recovery planning and reviews, as well as structured group work within the Foundations of Recovery / Rehabilitation framework

About you:

Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experiencing of working within the criminal justice or related field Experience of supporting and advising participants with complex and / or multiple barriers to success Knowledge of the Criminal Justice System Experience of carrying our DRR / ATR assessments (desired but nor essential) Ability to work flexibly within the prison regime (. start at 08:15am to fall in line with other prison departments and staff)
