Position: Primary Teaching Assistant SEN TA

Start Date: Immediate Start- subject to background and  DBS cehcks

Salary: £83.00-£90.00

We are currently seeking a passionate and organised individual to join a reputable school in Tameside. The school offers a positive, secure environment and encourages communication between staff, parents, and pupils.

This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and has experience working as a Teaching Assistant with SEN Children.

About the role:

  • Part time- Thursday and Friday
  • Working with two students with Diasnosed Austism. expreince dealing with ASC or challening behaviour is a must.
  • Competitive Salary
  • Be able to work using your initiative and follow direction when needed.
  • Can build strong relationships with both students and staff.
  • Managing student behaviour during activities and lessons

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Be flexible and patient.
  • Be able to communicate clearly.
  • Effectively work as part of a team
  • Level 2/3 Teaching assistant qualification desiered but not esstntial dpending on the level of exprience.

Successful candidate must have:

  • DBS Certificate on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 professional references
  • Has GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
