Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver effective Spanish lessons that meet the needs of individual students and promote their progress in the subject.
  • Design and implement creative teaching strategies to engage students and foster a love for learning Spanish.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that values diversity and encourages student participation.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to aid their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to language teaching across the school.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering positive relationships and effective partnerships.
  • Stay up to date with the latest educational developments and pedagogical practices in language teaching.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Spanish or a relevant field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish at the primary or secondary level.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language and culture.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with technology and digital resources for language teaching.
