Job Summary

You will play an integral part in the function of the Maintenance Team whilst undertaking practical training within the maintenance and repair of the Boards Electrical assets, supplemented by attendance at college in order to obtain the Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.

This position is to commence September 2024, with an expected duration of 36 months.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent Grades 9 4, to include Maths, English and a Technical/Science related subject
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Have an interest in electrical work e.g as a hobby
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with work environment e.g through work experience (desirable)
  • Ability to carry out the full range of physical tasks associated with the position
  • Should not have a fear of heights, enclosed spaces or working over water
  • Ideally live within easy reach of Dover or have means of transport
