Job Description:

Are you an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant seeking a fulfilling role in early childhood education? Step Teachers are working with a "Good" Ofsted-rated Nursery located in Stratford, Are looking for a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team, Immediately or in September 2024

Nursery Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Make a positive impact within the classroom, supporting children's learning and development.
  • Encourage positive behavior and provide pastoral support to children when required, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and achievements and fostering positive partnerships.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning.

Nursery Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children's learning and well-being.
  • Nursery Teaching Assistant must have experience in children's center's and in running parent-toddler sessions.
  • Parent outreach, family support, writing reports, and Organizing activities.
  • Nursery Teaching Assistant but be able to do baby yoga and massages.
