Responsibilities
Provides direction guidance anddefinition of IT Platform architecture to effectively support ITand business strategy.
Supports all architecturaldisciplines and champions architectural initiatives.
Reviews existing business processes and establishes metrics toimprove business processes as well as support of all architecturaldisciplines under their direction.
Works on highlycomplex projects that require indepth knowledge across multiplespecialized architecture domains.
Aligns architecturestrategy with business goals.
Defines explains andadvocates technology strategy.
Develops and communicatesarchitectural policies standards guidelines andprocedures.
Promotes the EA process outcomes and resultsto the organization and senior leadership.
Reviewsand/or analyzes and develops architectural requirements as neededfor the organization.
Ensures the conceptualcompleteness of the technical solutions.
Leads teams indeveloping technology plans.
Consults with project teamsto fit projects to enterprise architecture as well as to identifywhen it is necessary to modify the enterprisearchitecture.
Ensures recommendations are based onbusiness relevance appropriate timing and deployment.
Collaborates with project management and IT leaders to ensureprogress towards architectural alignment with project goals andrequirements.
Preferred experience includes Esris GIStools and platform.

Sills Required/ Desired Amount of Experience
Experience intechnical substantive and methodological issues related to designarchitecture for new or emerging solutions and technologies.Required 10 Years
Experience in defining enterprisemetadata standards and an enterprise taxonomy Required 4Years
Experience with various aspects of enterprisearchitecture with knowledge of one or more formalized frameworkssuch as NASCIO TOGAF FEAF Required 10 Years
Experienceapplying application/software/systems development methodologiesincluding agile approaches Required 10 Years
IT andbusiness/industry work experience including architecture design anddeployment systems lifecycle management and infrastructure planningand o Required 10 Years
Experience with Esris GIS toolsand platforms Highly desired 3 Years
