JobDescription :
Key Information: Candidate to be a part ofthe platform engineering team responsible for setting up the DevOpspipelines for application teams in the Corporate and InvestmentBank. Should have past hands on DevOPs experience and be able tosetup the various DevOps tooling components acrossapplications

Mandatory Skill
SoftwareDevelopment experience in a significant project Experience withdeployment technologies inc. Cloud infrastructure (esp. AWS)Kubernetes Containers/Docker git Gitlab CI DevOps practicesincluding Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery TrunkbasedDevelopment Linux scripting and deployment experience. Pythondevelopment and packaging (conda/wheel format/poetry/setuptools)Understanding of networking including TCP/IP HTTP firewalls reverseproxy software like nginx/caddy Infrastructure Automation with helmkustomize cloud formation terraform etc.

DesiredSkill
Experience with the Backstage framework fordeveloper portals. React/Typescript full stack development DataScience technologies including knowledge of spark dask parqueticeberg formats Apache Hadoop Hive Presto SQL PostgresImmuta

Roles & Responsibilities
Implement build and deployment pipelines forapplications in Gitlab Assist in conversion of Convert existingapplications to standardised pipelines Manage cloud infrastructurewith Infrastructure as Code including setting up a platformorchestrator to detect and maintain standardised config acrossmultiple AWS accounts Create platform automation to monitorapplications and ensure compliance with firm standards Participatein code reviews for team members Develop and support our developerplatform portal with React Typescript Express and Postgres Releaseplatform updates to production (with other team members)
