About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) to join our team in Barry. This role involves working alongside a qualified nurse to support an adult male with learning and physical difficulties. Your main responsibilities will include providing personal care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Support daily activities and encourage independence where possible.
- Monitor and record the individual's health and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the qualified nurse to implement care plans.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
- Valid and active NMC Registration.
- 6 Months proven experience as a RNC with General Wardexpertise.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathetic, caring, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check - which, if you are not on the DBS Update Service, MPS Healthcare will process for you free of charge
