  • Develop and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons to students.
  • Plan and implement a curriculum that meets the educational needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their development.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest teaching methods and educational trends in Religious Studies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Religious Studies.
  • Degree in Religious Studies or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Religious Studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Religious Studies.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students in Religious Studies.
  • Sound understanding of different religious beliefs and practises.
  • Proficient in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education or Religious Studies.
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Participation in relevant professional development courses or workshops.
Working Conditions:
  • Regular working hours, Monday to Friday.
  • Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
