About the service...
New Vision Bradford was launched on 1 April . This is a partnership between Humankind, the Bridge Project, Project 6 and Creative Strength. Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult substance misuse service for the Bradford District. We provides a safe environment for people to develop life skills and confidence, ultimately enabling them to rebuild their lives and become active, contributing members of the Bradford community.
About the role...
We are looking to appoint a full-time Recovery Coordinator on a permanent basis, under the New Vision Bradford umbrella, based at Unity. In order to be considered for this role you will need 2 years full time experience of working with people with alcohol and/or drug problems and/or people with complex and multiple needs. Having access to a vehicle would be desirable but not essential.
You will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality substance misuse treatment provision by supporting service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey. You will play a crucial role acting as the care coordinator for an assigned group of service users.
Key Duties:
- Manage an adult caseload of a variety of substance use issues, opiate/non opiate and alcohol.
- Devising, implementing, and reviewing ongoing recovery and treatment plans.
- Facilitate and promote individuals progression from initial engagement, through structured treatment, to self-sustained recovery.
- Reduce substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community.
- Working collaboratively with key partners and colleagues to achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for individuals.
- Scripting.
