Our Client, a luxury later living company, are looking for an Executive Chef to work with the existing team and create exciting menus across multiple-venues, working 40 hours across 5 days.
Executive Chef Role Responsibilities;
- Designing a range of exciting menus across both sites including themed events
- Developing high quality dishes to support menus, maintaining agreed target GP’s
- Sourcing and the highest level of locally sourced ingredients into each menu
- Negotiating and managing supplier accounts ensuring all prices are in agreed limits
- Helping set up and develop the full food and beverage service at both sites
- Maintaining active and engaging interaction with residents during all services
- Holding monthly ‘Chef Surgery’ for residents to encourage positive feedback on dining experiences
- Full daily responsibility for all aspects of food preparation and delivery from both the kitchen and front of house
- Engaging with residents with the aim to drive up meal uptake across both sites for each event
- Undertaking weekly stock takes, account for any deficiencies and maintain target on GP’s
- Fully accountable for the cleanliness and safe systems of work in the kitchen and dining areas
- Adhering to established HACCP processes and local authority 5-star standards
- Working with other Head of Departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Leading other staff / team members when necessary
