DearApplicant for one of our client a pioneer in bundling logisticsinfrastructure and leveraging edge intelligence through hivemethodology we are looking for an EngineeringManager (Research and Development) to lead clientsAnalytics and Platform Development team. This role is pivotal indriving our next evolution focusing on developing a robust scalableanalytics platform on major cloud services like Azure AWS or GoogleCloud. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable ofmanaging a dynamic team and fostering innovation in a fastpacedenvironment.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadthe development of a cloudbased analytics platform tailored for thelogistics industry.
  • Manage a team of skilledprofessionals including three core developers with additionalsupport from DevOps and device managementteams.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecyclefrom concept to deployment ensuring adherence to timeline budgetand quality standards.
  • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to align the platform development withoverall business objectives and customerneeds.
  • Foster a culture of innovation andcontinuous improvement within theteam.
  • Regularly report on project progresschallenges and strategies to senior management andstakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trendsand advancements in cloud computing data analytics and logisticstechnology

Requirements:

  • Bacheloror Master degree in Computer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) inleading engineering projects etc preferably in cloud computingand/or data analytics.
  • Strong technicalexpertise in cloud services (Azure AWS or GoogleCloud).
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and aresultoriented approach.
  • Excellentcommunication skills both verbal andwritten.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced anddynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of DevOpspractices and IoT device management is aplus.
  • Proficiency in AI machine learning andedge computing.
  • Experience with cloudinfrastructure and development.
  • Knowledge ofrelevant programming languages and techstacks.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage andinspire R&D teams.
  • Experience in projectplanning budgeting and timelinemanagement.
  • Must be eligible to work in theUK.
