Wayman Group is currently seeking a dynamic and passionate English teacher to join a vibrant and forward-thinking school in Barnet. Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to students.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school's educational goals and standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and encouraged to participate.
- Assess and evaluate students' performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching English.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in English literature, language, and teaching techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level.
- Strong knowledge and passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Effective classroom management skills.
