Functions

Asa Childrens Hospice Nurse (Band 5) at The Ark you will be part ofthe Specialist Care Team responsible for providing care toseriously unwell babies children and young people. Your duties willinclude:

  • Caring for children stayingat The Ark and those visiting for daycare
  • Providing support to children in theirfamily homes and communitysettings
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinaryteams to meet the full clinical emotional social and practicalneeds of patients and families
  • Utilizingexcellent clinical and communication skills to deliver highqualitycare
  • Participating in the growth and success ofNoahs Ark ChildrensHospice

Requirements

Theideal candidate will possess the following qualifications andattributes:

  • Minimum of 2 yearsexperience as a Registered Nurse at Band 5level
  • UK Driving license and own vehiclerequired for commuting to site and occasional oncall visits tofamily homes
  • Excellent clinical andcommunication skills
  • Creative and compassionateapproach to pediatric palliative care
  • Abilityto work collaboratively in a multidisciplinaryteam
  • Commitment to making a positive differenceto seriously unwell children and theirfamilies
