Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant in Brackley. This Teaching Assistant position has an immediate start and the school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work across their Early Years and KS1 year groups. The school are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to continue until the end of the academic year, ideally full time but they are happy to consider part time options. This position is an ongoing supply role for at least one academic tern.

Enthusiasm is a key part of the ethos of this Primary School. This is the enthusiasm from the staff for what they do and part they play in the development of the children, as well as the drive to help children develop an excitement for learning. Under the former Ofsted rating’s for schools, this 2 form-entry Primary School was graded ‘Good’.

Role of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Able to support the students in the class under the direction of the class teacher
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
  • Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
  • Ability to support students, on a whole class, small group and one to one basis, and encourage their progression
  • Comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively

Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Recent experience working in as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School or Nursery
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
  • SEND experience is desirable
