Wilsons Auctions is the largest independently owned auction house in the UK and Ireland. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Disposal Operative to work in our Glasgow branch.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager the successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the day to day running of the commercial department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Organisation of the commercial / disposal auctions.
• Dealing with customers.
• Entering details into auction management system.
• Taking and uploading images to website.
• Assisting commercial manager on auction days.
• This role will involve outside work, sometimes in inclement weather.

The successful candidate should have the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in a commercial environment desirable but not essential.
• Full clean drivers' licence with 3 years' experience
• Good level of IT literacy.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical experience desirable but not essential.

Desirable Criteria:

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence - 5 ton.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (30 min lunch)
