Position Overview:

The Stores Operative will support by improving the overall quality of parts, order repairs and preparation, assisting the bays with efficiency and to identify items that require exchanging for a better-quality alternatives.

As the Stores Operative you will be responsible for:

  • Booking in and out of parts ensuring stock levels are correct
  • Packing and arranging deliveries to site for the service desk
  • Ensuring that stock levels within the workshops are sufficient by carrying out regular checks and deliveries to the workshops
  • General housekeeping for the Stores, including keeping the area inside and out are tidy and ensuring the recycling policy is being adhered to
  • Occasionaly collecting and delivering of parts to and from local customer sites
  • Controlling the gas cages ensuring we adhere to regulations recording gas usage and bottle returns

The successful Stores Operative will hold:

  • Experience working in a busy stock room area
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience working with computers/stock systems
  • Good attention to detail
