Your role:

As our Hygiene Operative, you'll carry out all cleaning tasks within the factory as requested by the, Hygiene Supervisor and Hygiene Manager. To ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standard having followed all appropriate cleaning procedures as specified within a food production facility.

What you’ll do:

To ensure all areas are cleaned to a level of agreed standard meeting both safety & hygiene regulations for the site. To wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the designated areas and adhere to colour coding when using cleaning utensils. To participate in recommended training courses when necessary and be available for refresher and updated training sessions. To report any defects to equipment immediately to Senior Management. To report any hazards that you may identify to Senior Management. To behave in a safe and appropriate manner at all times following agreed Health & Safety policy and procedures. To assist during internal / external audits as required Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies To maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc. Works to ensure that where possible tasks carried out minimise environmental impact. Mentor new employees within the department Undertake any other reasonable duties and as and when required following consultation between yourself and management. To complete daily sign off sheet with daily/weekly tasks.

Potential Shift hours:

AM Shift hours (1 position available): 6:00am - 2:00pm PM Shift hours (1 position available): 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Work Location: Chaddock Ln, Worsley, Manchester, M28 1DR

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.04 per hour
