An excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager in the civil engineering industry with CAN Structures - a growing, energetic and friendly company.
The Contracts Manager will oversee and mentor a team of project managers responsible for planning and executing projects. You will play a critical role in managing resources, ensuring project goals are met, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. Your leadership will be key to fostering a collaborative environment that thrives on innovation and precise execution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of project managers in the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop strategic project management plans, emphasising efficiency, risk management, and resource optimisation.
- Oversee all aspects of project lifecycles from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement best practices for project management processes to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback, fostering team growth and skill enhancement.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines in all project activities.
- Report to senior leadership on project status, performance metrics, and strategic adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing complex construction projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle stress and tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of liaising with clients, stakeholders, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
