Job summary

The Project Lead for Safeguarding Transformation will be a key role within Bolton NHS Foundation Trust (BFT) over the next 12 months, focused on supporting the delivery of the Trust's assurance plans and the delivery of national, regional and local safeguarding priorities. This post has been created to support the Corporate leadership team in ensuring that BFT achieves its aims and ambitions as a leader in Safeguarding both Adults and Children.

The post holder will work with corporate teams, clinical divisions and wider system partners to ensure continued positive progress and development in Safeguarding priorities, responsibilities and assurance.

Main duties of the job

The key areas of responsibility include:

Establishment of effective partnerships. Develop and oversee the direction and delivery of all Safeguarding project work streams, and support and enable senior managers, clinicians, partners and directors. Ensure appropriate evaluation and metrics are in place to support impact monitoring and benefits realisation. Establish rapport and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management of interdependencies and delivery of objectives across the locality. Motivate staff to encourage collaborative working in the design of new ways of working and provide support to staff during the change process to overcome resistance to change. As an expert in and champion of organizational change and service improvement, the post holder will need high levels of self-motivation, tenacity and resilience.
