JOB TITLE: Security Deputy Manager

LOCATION: GLOUCESTERSHIRE

SHIFT PATTERN: 4 ON 4 OFF ROTA, 42 hours per week

PAY RATE: £14.3 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW

ABM UK is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Security Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Security Deputy Manager, you will support the Security Manager in overseeing the security operations across multiple locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and property. Your role will involve implementing security procedures, conducting staff training, and handling security-related incidents.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Security Manager in developing and implementing security strategies and procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily security operations
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant security policies, regulations, and standards
  • Provide training and guidance to security staff
  • Investigate security-related incidents and prepare incident reports
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, employees, and external stakeholders
  • Monitor CCTV and other security systems
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging security technologies

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the security industry
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and regulations
  • SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage emergencies
  • Proficient in using security systems and software
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid UK driving license
