Finders Recruitment is pleased to team up with a small yet dynamic electronics company, excelling in both electronics product manufacturing and marine electronics. We are currently seeking a talented Digital Marketing and Social Media Strategist to join this innovative team.

In this role, you will spearhead all marketing efforts, with a focus on leveraging social media platforms to enhance brand visibility within the marine market. Responsibilities also include managing a WooCommerce-based website and executing strategic Google Ads campaigns. We are looking for a creative thinker who can develop and implement effective marketing strategies and campaigns to drive growth and engagement.

Essential Skills & Personal Specifications:

  • Proven social media marketing experience (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Demonstrable content creation skills, including video editing.
  • Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, Adobe Lightroom, and Paint.net.
  • Knowledge and experience in SEO.
  • Experience with Google Ads.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative on projects.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritisation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for boat shows
  • Background in electronics
  • Background in sailing/marine activities

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Maintain and optimise the company website, including SEO.
  • Monitor and manage Google Ads campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the R&D department for new product launches.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to represent the company at boat shows.
  • Support distributors with marketing campaigns to drive sales.
  • Innovate to increase brand awareness and visibility.
  • Compile and distribute a monthly newsletter to customers.
