Graduate Engineer (Dromona)

As a Graduate Engineer, you will join a site engineering team and assist in its daily management and operation on the food manufacturing site in Cullybackey. You will share responsibility for optimising equipment and the team, understanding associated costs, plus managing effectively the use of services across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of engineering standards, processes and change control to help deliver best in class maintenance programmes across the site. Lead, using manufacturing data, programs to support data driven manufacturing and energy strategies on site. Champion continuous improvement to include embedding structured problem solving. Assist in new equipment/ capital investment works on site. Understand asset lifestyle management, reviewing maintenance schedules accordingly. Work alongside production colleagues to optimise machine and process set up and control system configurations to achieve maximum yield and process control performance.

Specific Skills and Experience

Required:

Candidates should be a recently qualified Engineering Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical engineering. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Systematic and comfortable using data and analytic tools with a strong IT skillset. An improvement mindset. Driving license and access to a vehicle Excellent problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

An experience of factory-based engineering would be advantageous Experience of working in the food Industry. PLC experience. CIP knowledge.

The successful candidate for this role will approach their work systematically, show the attributes to being reliable, the ability to provide a comprehensive engineering service to the site.
