The Recruitment Co have an amazing opportunity to work for a growing company in North Somerset as a Recycling Advisor.

Role: Recycling Advisor/Waste Management Consultant

Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

Salary: £26,621 per annum.

Location: Weston-Super-Mare

Our client is a well established company in Weston-Super-Mare who works in partnership with North Somerset Council to provide recycling solutions across the area.

The role is based at our Weston super Mare Offices but will require frequent travel across the North Somerset area for which a business-use only vehicle will be provided. We would sponsor relevant qualifications to develop the successful individual's future within the Company.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A passion and enthusiasm about environmental issues
  • Demonstrable experience within an educational, environmental, or communications-based role; successfully influencing outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills inc. presentation delivery
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to persuade a wide range of audiences in changing behaviours to benefit both best value and environmental performance.
  • An aptitude for research, collection of data and action planning
  • Experience of producing and analysing reports specifically utilising MS Excel
  • A full driving licence and flexible working approach
