Asa skilled vehicle technician you must hold skills and knowledge todiagnose system faults rectify the faults (including replacingcomponents) and return vehicle systems to manufacturerspecification.
OurClient is welcoming applications from experienced VehicleTechnicians trained to diagnostic or master technician levelswithin in a franchised dealerenvironment.
Youwill require a Full UK drivers licence and have your owntools
Dependingon your skill level the role willinvolve:
- Utilisingyour technical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance oncustomer vehicles including minor and major mechanicalwork
- Completemajor electrical and engine repairwork
- Meetand discuss the vehicle and repairs needed with the customer whennecessary
- Carryout road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carriedout
- Usingadvanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to thefranchisebrand
- Abilityto complete a Vehicle Health Check (VHC) ensuring that the (VHC)video completion meets target and exceeds all Vehicle (VHC)KPIs
RequirementsRoleRequirements:
- Technicalknowledge to allow you to confidently and safely carry out repairsand maintenance of customervehicles
- Demonstratecapability and confidence in using systems and equipment within theworkshop
- Experiencewithin a franchise dealer working to the highest qualitystandards
- Experienceof working to productivitytargets
- Workingas part of a team to achieve the best results for thecustomer
- Qualifiedby experience in post or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance andRepair
- Mentor& Coach apprentices and support less experienced teammembers
