Sr AEM Developer

Roles andResponsibilities:Seasoned backend specialistskilled in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and robust Javadevelopment. The role encompasses crafting and maintaining AEMtemplates components and integrations while upholding clean codingpractices.

• AEMDevelopment & Maintenance:
• Develop andmaintain AEM templates components andworkflows.
• Collaborate with frontend teams toensure seamless integration of web components intoAEM.
• Implement and manage content structureswithin the AEM platform including content types taxonomies andmetadata.

• JavaDevelopment:
• Write clean scalable andmaintainable Java code to enhance the backend capabilities ofAEM.
• Optimize performance of AEM instancesleveraging Java best practices and tools.
• Workwith other Javabased tools and frameworks that integrate with theAEMecosystem.

• SystemIntegration:
• Integrate AEM with otherenterprise systems databases and thirdparty services using APIs webservices or other methods.
• Ensure dataconsistency and reliability acrossintegrations.

4)Code Quality & BestPractices:

• Ensure backend solutionsadhere to clean coding practices
• Conduct andparticipate in regular code reviews to maintain codequality.
• Stay updated on the latest AEM patchesand updates and ensure timely application for security andperformance.

5)Performance &Scalability:

• Monitor AEM backendperformance and optimize as necessary to ensure smoothoperation.
• Work with infrastructure teams onscaling solutions ensuring the AEM platform can handle growth intraffic andcontent.

TheExperience You Bring

• 7 yearsexperience in development with atleast 4 years inAEM
• Strong expertise in Java with a focus onbackend development.
• Proven experience workingwith Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and understanding of itsarchitecture and components.
• Proficiency indeveloping and managing OSGi components and services with anunderstanding of OSGi configurations lifecycle and modularityaspects.
• Deep knowledge of JCR standardsincluding experience with node structures versioning and querylanguages like XPath or SQL2.
• Experience withAEM built in and exgternal searchengine
• Knowledge of clean coding practices andprinciples with a track record of applying them in pastroles.
• Familiarity with RESTful services andintegration patterns with AEM.
• Strongunderstanding of version control systems preferablyGit.
• Knowledge of continuous integration andcontinuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines andtools.
• Comfortable with server configurationscaching strategies and optimizing AEM dispatchersetups.
• Knowledge ofCDN.
• Maintain code quality through regular codereviews unit testing and following established bestpractices.
• Stay updated with the latestindustry trends and incorporate them into projects as deemedfit.
• Good communication including writtendiagrammatic and oral to unwind complexities in solutions totechnical and nontechnical personnel.
