Job Description

Staff Nurse - Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse

Salary: £43,800

Hours per week: 38.5, mixed shifts

Please note that our client does not offer Tier 2 sponsorship

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse (RNLD) to join our client's team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have experience working in an Autism and Mental Health setting and will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to service users.

This outstanding service provides a comprehensive pathway of acute admissions services for a small number of men who have been diagnosed with autism. The focus of the service is on recovery through meaningful engagement and to support residents to live with their condition.

Qualifications
  • RNLD (Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities) qualification, with a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Previous experience working with individuals with Autism and Mental Health conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of best practices in nursing care for individuals with complex needs

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to individuals with Autism and Mental Illness while adhering to the highest standards of professional practice
  • Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Support and assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and interventions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
