This Role

As a Security Gateperson, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our premises and assets. You will be responsible for monitoring access points, controlling entry and exit of vehicles and personnel, and enforcing security protocols. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises. Control entry and exit of vehicles and personnel, ensuring proper authorisation. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter suspicious activity. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing traffic. Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies. Enforce company security policies and procedures. Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure a safe and secure environment. Assist with other security-related tasks and projects as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in security, or a related field is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and observant nature. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Basic computer skills.

Hours for the role are 40 hours per week, Alternating Monday – Friday 5.30am – 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 9.30pm.
