Your role

As a Senior Medical Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by providing expert guidance and strategic insight. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the development and implementation of innovative medical plans and solutions that positively impact patient outcomes.

 

Primary Work Tasks:

  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership, ensuring alignment with healthcare advancements and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of medical affairs and scientific acumen to guide and support decision-making regarding patient care.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, contributing to the integration of medical strategies.
  • Develop and deliver medical plan which is aligned to overall strategy, while setting clear vision and priorities. 
  • Develop and deliver educational programs and training materials to enhance the professional development of team members.
  • Represent our organization externally to establish strong partnerships within the medical community and medical experts.

 

This is a UK Head Office based position in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with 2 days per week required in the office. 

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: 

 

  • Medical qualification with GMC registration or registered pharmacist
  • ABPI/IPHA medical signatory required
  • Substantial and proven experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry within a Medical Affairs role 
  • Background in dermatology is a plus
  • Product launch experience is a plus 

 

You will have a strategic focus and innovative mindset combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain and build relationships. 

Your new team

Your will be part of the UK and Ireland Medical Affairs team reporting to the Country Medical Director. You will be joining a dynamic and passionate team dedicated to advancing dermatology beyond the skin. We value collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and innovation, and together, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.
