As theHead of French you will have a pivotal role in shaping the Frenchdepartment nurturing a passion for the French language and culturein students. Your outstanding leadership abilities will inspire andmotivate both students and teachers fostering a positive andencouraging learning environment.

Collaboratingwith a team of enthusiastic educators you will have the opportunityto develop a comprehensive and captivating French curriculumensuring that students acquire the necessary language skills andcultural comprehension to thrive in an increasingly interconnectedworld.

Responsibilities
  • Leadand manage the French department setting strategic direction andgoals
  • Ensure the delivery of highqualityteaching and learning in French
  • Mentor andsupport French teachers fostering their professionalgrowth
  • Develop and implement initiatives toenhance students linguistic and culturalcompetence
  • Organize and oversee extracurricularactivities related to French language andculture
  • Collaborate with colleagues oncrosscurricular projects and initiatives
  • Stayupdated with the latest developments in French education andimplement best practices
  • Monitor and evaluatestudent progress and achievements providing guidance whenneeded
Requirements
  • QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) orequivalent
  • Specialization in French or arelated field
  • Postgraduate degree in French orLanguage Education (preferred)
  • Significantexperience teaching French preferably at the secondarylevel
  • Demonstrated leadership and managementskills
  • Passionate about promoting Frenchlanguage acquisition and culturalunderstanding
  • Excellent communicationorganizational and interpersonalabilities
  • Commitment to continuous professionaldevelopment in Frencheducation
