Responsibilities

What you will do:

Set the Strategy: Lead and own the Crop Nutrition Agronomy strategy for Yara UK& Ireland in close collaboration with internal stakeholders. Setting the direction to ensure both short and long term targets are achieved. Crop Nutrition: Be the Senior crop nutrition expert leading the agronomy team to provide support and advice to external and internal stakeholders, as well as collaborating closely with commercial & Marketing teams to align on key messaging and content to be developed. Sustainability : Work closely with expert teams to address key market trends related to sustainability and Regenerative agriculture, actively supporting our commercial partnership developments in this area. Industry Influencer: Attend Industry/government events or academic conferences to convey key messages to relevant stakeholders and ensure external trends and developments that may impact the business are being actively followed. Innovation : Overall responsibility to define and drive the crop nutrition trial, innovation and R&D requirements to support the commercial needs as well as new business development. Marketing: Lead the collaboration with the Marketing team to establish the commercial go-to-market plan as well as for targeted events and digital channels to reach and engage with our farmers and customers. Develop Products: Ensure agronomic input is integrated into new product portfolio and digital solution developments to meet the market needs.

Profile

Degree level in Agriculture Experienced within a senior agronomy or technical role FACTS & BASIS qualified Clear understanding of agricultural regulatory landscape Deep understanding of UK & Ireland farming practices Good communication skills, Leadership qualities, collaborative, creative thinking Experienced in leading teams or mentoring and developing people Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about making a difference in agriculture Hold a valid UK driving licence
